Hi, My Name is Dave

The other week Cari dared me to wear this outfit to Bala for some shopping she and Kevin had to do. 

I wasn't going to at first....but she promised me an ice cream cone if I completed the said dare. 

So I did. It wasn't that bad people kinda stared but it was pretty funny.

Then the dare turned into a full on dramatized adventure. Emily has a friend that works at Bala's Tourist Center..(more like a really tiny room with pamphlets and some signs, with a little counter). Anyhow, we stopped by and in a moment of spontaneity and daring, so produced this.

Me( in the worst possible hick accent):  "Hi, My name is Dave, I'm looking for the best places to fish".

Girl: "Alright well what kind of fish were you looking to catch?"

Me: Well gosh, I dunno anything that is worth eaten. but I didn't know if I need a boat or not.

Girl: okay, umm, you don't need a boat you can just fish off of the dock back there (points with hand).

Me: Oh okay! ...Now.... do I need a rod? like I have this pipe that I pulled out of my house and I was thinking I could just sneak up on the fish and bash them over the head....do you think that would be fine?

Girl: Ummm Yeah I guess that could work 

Me: Alrighty then...(looks around...sees a sign that has turtles on it)  Can I hunt Turtles?!

Girl: Oh no, you need a license for that.

Me: ooh... I don't need a license for fishing though?

Girl: no, cause it in season. 

Me: Well Okay then! thankyou very much! Have a good day now.

aaaannddd I walked out and died of laughing. I then went back in with Emily to prove that I wasn't a crazy person and apologize because the poor girl believed every word I said. hahaha

Also I cannot believe I actually did this!
