this is not a very good picture, buutt I thought David was cute. He's in cadets and was in a kub car race. He also earned his knots badge.
For kicks I went to a victoria day parade in a nearby town. I really love bagpipes.
For some reason the Kinsmen Club decided that it would be super cool and exciting if they drove in golf carts in the parade and do figure eights in them. They were so happy.
I didn't have any pictures from staff training, but after staff training Cari had invited me to stay at the Mckelvey's house and help out at camp and bake. It was lots of fun, maintenance work at camp is my favourite. It was also cool to see work on the new bathrooms, even when Cari was trying to set me up with some of the workers haha. Emily took me around gravenhurst and showed me some really neat spots around the warf.
we climbed lots of rocks
I really like this one.
she also took me to a cemetery.. I forget why I took a picture of this particular stone.
we found her name.
One of the days I was at camp with Kevin, a HUGE pavement roller arrived, it was to be used to pack down some of the new gravel that was being laid from the beach to just behind the dining hall. I asked Kevin if he was excited to drive it, and his reply was, "Oh yeah! aren't you?!" I didn't know what he meant, I soon found out as he let both Sam and I DRIVE it down to the beach and back multiple times. It was sooo funnn, but a little scaryy, but I didn't even hit anything!
I did this!! It doesn't look like this anymore though, there was a smaller type gravel put on top of this.
Andd those were the past few weeks. Tah Dah.

I'm so jealous that you got to drive that..
ReplyDeleteI now want to be a construction worker... haha
